What is this?
This RF Link Budget Calculator can be used to calculate the
Line-Of-Sight (LOS) distance between two radio systems dependent on
radio type, antenna type and frequency.
Expert Mode (on/off)
When 'Expert Mode' is off you simply select the radio type and
antenna type. Then hit the <Calculate> button.
Switching to 'Expert Mode' enables you to modify all parameters
yourself. Just select a radio type and antenna type combination
that closest matches your configuration, modify the parameters
of your choice, then hit the <Calculate> button.
Output
The output of the calculation is showing the Line-Of-Sight
distance that can be achieved and the required antenna height.
